Texoma Micro germinates sprouts hydroponically in glass jars. The entire sprout is eaten - root, shoot and any developed leaves - providing you with the nutrition of the entire sprout!
Sprouts have many health benefits including improved digestion, boost metabolism, prevent anemia, increase weight loss, improve heart health, reduce risk of cancer, and more.

Microgreens
Texoma Micro grows microgreens in and on various mediums like soil, coco coir and paper towels for 7-21 days just before the first true leaves develop. Unlike sprouts, Microgreens are typically harvested by cutting the
stalk and as such you eat only the shoot and leaves. Microgreens are packed with nutrition, which may often be 10-100 times the nutrients as eating the mature vegetable, bean, or green. Becuase of this, Microgreens
may reduce the risk of various diseases including Heart Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Diabetes, and certain Cancers. Microgreens are high in fiber and Vitamin K. This can promote and maintain helthy blood pressure.

Below are some of the health benefits of sprouts and microgreens.
- Alfalfa - One of the most popular, nutritious and delicious of all sprouted seeds. They are high in protein, essential amino acids, and eight digestive enzymes; vitamins A, C, B complex (including B-12), D, E, and K; minerals, iron, phosphorous, calcium, magnesium, and potassium; and chlorophyll when exposed to light. Alfalfa sprouts are very tasty, with a sweet nut-like flavor.
- Arugula leaves contain important macronutrients such as carbohydrates, fiber, and proteins; essential micronutrients such as vitamins A, C, K, B2, and folate; and minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, and especially high amounts of potassium and calcium. It also contains indoles, which are phytochemicals with powerful cancer-fighting abilities. Arugula helps promote healthy strong bones. It may protect against Ulcers. It may help with eye health. Arugula is great in salad and on sandwiches. It has a nutty, spicy taste or wasabi like flavor. Health Benefits include Vitamin C, copper, and iron in arugula help prevent anemia. - Broccoli - Contains a high level of glucoraphanin that your body converts into sulforaphane, which protects your cells against inflammation and can reduce the risk of various diseases. Many studies have confirmed up to 40% reduced risk of cancer by eating 3-5 servings of cruciferous vegetables (including broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and cabbage) per week. Other health benefits include treatment for stomach ulcers and some mental health disorders.

- Kohlrabi - Kohlrabi is a vegetable developed by the 16th century from the marrow cabbage. Known not only for their colorful presentation but as well for their many health benefits. The green leaves and intense purple stems make them immensely popular to grow at home and use as a garnish!
- Speckled Pea Shoots - Pea Shoots make excellent garnishes. But don't stop with just a nice-looking plate. They should be eaten because they are packed full of nutrients. Pea shoots taste great. They can be used as a garnish, added on top of pasta, added to salad, put in smoothies, and used in lots of other ways.
